Dining Budget Poll Results

Results of Dining Budget Poll
It looks like pockets are pretty tight when it comes to dining out. About 65 per cent of poll respondents say they'd budget only S$10-20 per person when dining out. It must be tough for restauranteurs. On their end, they face spiralling food and operating costs, and have to raise prices. Consumers, already feeling a greater pinch, are budgeting for cheaper eats.

Me? I'm going for lower budget, single digit dollar meals too, but once in a very long while, I will go for a treat. Sigh. Must work harder to find cheap and tasty eats!

being a foodie can be expensive -cost of food, time spent eating (and waiting) and travelling costs!

Oh regarding the comment about culminating my thoughts into a book, you must be thinking of the guy from waiter's rant! hehe...
