Garrett Popcorn just opened yesterday at Parkway Parade, making it a very good Friday indeed! They're at the basement opposite Cold Storage and Bengawan Solo. Candylicious also has a small store next to it.
Is Garret Popcorn worth its pricetag? I guess once in a while, it's a nice treat. These are hot air popped, so they say no oil or fats are used (seriously? really? wow)! Each kernel is almost perfectly round and deliciously chewy. Garrett focuses on only a few flavours - Plain Popcorn, Buttery Popcorn, CaramelCrisp® (also available blended with almonds, cashews, macadamias or pecans) and CheeseCorn™. We like the salty-savoury Chicago Mix - Caramel + Cheese!
I am glad I don't have to travel to Sentosa (above) or Suntec Citylink Mall now to get my fix.
But it's still nice to go to Sentosa to see the flagship Candylicious store.
Meanwhile, I'll tuck into those addictive little pops of joy. You really can't stop once you start...

ReplyDeleteFinally available at Orchard Central (pushcart near stone cold creamery) and also art 132A Telok Ayer Street, 2nd Floor. "look for the small yellow card snack.sg on the glass door, the shop sells designer bags AS well as the popcorn"..
i bought 2 big bag and 2 big tin, in the same flavor in the same time, and it came out the one in the tin is more crispy. it seems they're selling the not fresh pops to the paper bag. the same happen for all. shame for garrets.
