More Lunch and Brunch Options Now at Marina Bay Sands Celebrity Chef Restaurants
Fancy this Oyster in Ice Gelée for lunch? Well, starting today (17 Feb), you can do power lunches at Guy Savoy, as it's now open for lunch every Friday and Saturday. (Update: Guy Savoy has closed)
It's one of the several celebrity chef restaurants at Marina Bay Sands have expanded their lunch and brunch service.
“The lunch service is a time-honored tradition at our Paris flagship, and we felt it’s time to transport the same experience to Singapore. Just for the Singapore restaurant, we are introducing the “Déjeuner en Demi” concept in the afternoon, which serves half portions of our regular dinner menu. The portion sizes are appropriately catered for lunch with corresponding prices, while allowing diners to enjoy the same exquisite food and service that one can expect from Guy Savoy,” said Eric Bost, executive chef at Guy Savoy, Marina Bay Sands.
You'll even get free parking or a rebate off your travel cost (just present your taxi/water taxi receipt), for a limited period until March 2012.
I'm also very happy to hear that db Bistro Moderne now offers lunch from noon all the way until 5pm on weekdays and from 11am to 5pm on weekends. Guests are able to enjoy the full lunch menu including signature items such as Original DB Burger and Coq Au Vin. Dinner starts just half an hour later at 5.30pm. You can see all their menus online.
Mmmh, I still have a nice group lunch from there to blog, when our dear friend Kenny Mah came to town. Oh we ate so much! That was a happy day.
And from March 2012, you can head to Osteria Mozza for Sunday brunch! The place is famous for its artisanal salumi, fresh handmade pastas as well as seafood and meat dishes done on the wood-burning grill.
I haven't tried Osteria yet, only the Pizzeria side (which is good). So maybe the brunch is a good opportunity to check out the restaurant. I'm just hoping it won't be packed like the pizzeria always is!
