The Shangri-La's Boracay Resort and Spa is easily the island's most luxurious destination. It's set far away from the touristy beach crowd, so it's nestled in seclusion and peaceful tranquility. The 219-room resort has its own private beach, and is set on a hillside amidst a lush eco-reserve. Puka Shell Beach is also nearby.

Loft Villa
The loft villas are two-storey accommodations built to enthrall.
The villas are perched high on the hillside with spectacular views.
You walk into a hall and the bedroom first. The living area is downstairs.
Looks like we managed to mess up the bathroom.
Oh the view of the sea and pool from upstairs is just breathtaking...
You can see the sea for miles and miles.
Downstairs you'll find the living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room opens out to a stone patio with the pool. There is a pergola for outdoor dining too.
I can just laze in this pool forever...
The rest of the resort is also quite pretty.
The fully five-star resort has all the facilities you need - dive and fitness centre, health club, tennis courts, a magnificent CHI spa perched on a rocky peninsula
The whole resort is extremely green and lush. And huge - buggies will take you everywhere.
There are water features everywhere.
It's beautiful just walking around.
There is a large pool with a poolside restaurant Cielo, which has amazing food (more in another post).
The very best thing? You get to the resort via a private speedboat from Shangri-La's very own jetty at Caticlan itself. No need to jostle with the rest of the crowd.
For such exquisite luxury, room rates can be a bit steep but check out their offers online or a travel agent for deals. Romantic getaways from PHP 22,500.

The Shangri La's Boracay resort is one of the best luxury resort in Boracay but then if you will be going back to Boracay I would suggest you visit and have a stay on the Best Hotels in Boracay and I am talking about the 7 Stones Boracay Resorts and Hotels.
